What is the Future of Online Training?

On Friday 7pm, I’m live on YouTube to share with you the new studio we have setup for online training.

As we plan to open again in a post-COVID world in March this poses some interesting questions about that future of online training.

If would like to pop in and ask me any questions about the setup or just to say “Hi”, I’ll be live at 7pm GMT.

Here is the link.

Title : What is the Future of Online Training | Studio Tour and AMA

Location: YouTube Live Broadcast
Time : 19:00 GMT

The Ability to Live Stream to your Audience has become democratised by Social Media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and yet the mechanism and technology that we use has hardly changed in 5 years.

Despite the massive transition to online training during the pandemic, I still constantly see terrible presentation with blurry virtual backgrounds, poor lighting, inaudible audio or really cheap webcams, and this is after almost 2 years of daily zoom calls, team meetings and skype calls.

I believe that the tools that we use to deliver our content, defines the overall experience, and it’s no longer good enough to just be a good speaker or to have great content – the “Props” we use are all part of the experience.

In this live broadcast, I want to present to you my best efforts at building the next generation Home Studio for Training and Coaching, where I focus on the 6 needs that every teacher and presenter needs to know and master to embrace the future of online training. I’m not claiming to be an expert, but I have spent a lot of time over the past year making micro-improvement to my setup and I have learnt a lot from the experience, and I would like to share my greatest lessons with you on this live broadcast.

In this presentation I cover:

  • Lights
  • Camera
  • Actions
  • Sound
  • Screen
  • Streams

I share with you the mistakes I have made, so you don’t have to, and the lessons I learnt so you can take them with you. If you are brave enough to join on stream, I will be offering some people (If I know you) the opportunity to come on stream (via a private zoom link) and grab the mic and ask me anything or share your feedback.

Might be a nice alternative for a Friday evening.

See you then.
