A picture paints a thousand words, or so it would seem. What you need to remember is, when you’re communicating effectively to someone, you’re painting pictures in their minds, second by second.
When you pause… after each powerful, statement you make. It gives, the recipient, a moment, to paint a picture and that could be a picture of what you are saying.
Do you purposefully pause when you speak? To allow, what you have said to sink in?
